“Your mom said no. You’ll have plenty of time to drink beer.” He winked and stood up. “Bud, let’s get the fire going. We got steaks to cook.”
“Righteous. I’ll get the charcoal.”
Jimmy’d bought the natural hardwood kind from Quebec. He showed Brandon how to stack it up in a pyramid with the newspaper underneath; he’d read up on it. “This way there’s no poisons from that lighter-fluid stuff getting in the meat. It’s the preferred method by barbeque experts.” When the fire wouldn’t start, Jimmy got pissed and used a little gasoline. When he tossed the match, the blast of flame almost set him on fire.
“Wow, that sure as hell got it going,” said Brandon. “Jimmy, you okay?”
He was rubbing his face with cold beer.

Hmmmm. Jon is silent. And more of these camouflage jobs are showing up.
Maybe Jon is camouflaging the entire motor pool of Hummers.
Hev, slow down as you pass the depot and I'll swing on.
