I got as far as that spectacular "Mercedes Benz AMG GT Roadster." I'm going to go find out how much they cost. No kidding. (They should change the letters from AMG to OMG, IMHO. )

$220,000 plus whatever.
My son bought a used one, a few years old, low mileage, for approx $30K. Massive price deterioration for these, but they're generally well cared for. Got to drive his. Quite an experience.
Unfortunately, if you gotta repair one, it's a $200K car no matter what you paid for it.

Looks like morning on the left, afternoon on the right...

Naw, it is a mirror image, same time of day both images, look at the shadows. Winter on both sides, so how to account for different color temperature in the light? Maybe just the way it was on the same day, same time, but two different years.

Looks like NY state route 383. 383 reads same in mirror image. Been trying to find the Catholic Church to locate the site. So far no hits.

Unfortunately, if you gotta repair one, it's a $200K car no matter what you paid for it.

1st thing you do is find a really good Benz shop that's not a dealership - back when I had a 450 I found a local guy that worked on nothing but Benz's, had a 3 bay shop, and owned 6-9 vintage ones himself on/off. Hourly rates were about 1/2 the dealership rates in this area.

Same story when my Saab when off warranty and insurance extended warranty -- off to a local guy that specialized at about 1/2 the rates.

Parts cost what parts cost, but finding good mechanics at reasonable hourly rates are worth the time to track down even before buying just about any car.

I won't even take my Subaru Outback to a dealer - last time I was there they took 4 hours to do what they admitted was a 40 min job - "We're really backed up......" - like the sewers?
