Daisy, how you holding up?

I bought a 'varmint' rifle from a guy at work, and the first time I used it, I killed a groundhog at 115 yards. Hev was joking around, said he was going to start calling me Dirty Pete, (ala Dirty Harry), and it got corrupted to 'Dirt'.
That the nickname came from him made it special.
And it describes me on so many levels.

I had ol' Hev on the horn 'till around 11:00 last night. He managed to root out a nice find!!!! Also we're workin' out the details of the best time to fly up there in the next couple of weeks to tip a tin cup with him and Dirt.
I also had the pleasure of meeting one of our newest forum members earlier in the evening, Barry. Not such a great prognosis for a couple of the engines that he brought with him to test, though. :? But the fella he purchased them from promises to make good on the repairs.
Well, one last cup of Joe and I'm headed up into the wild blue yonder. :D

Nice lookin' steam fire pumper. Looks like it's ready to fire up. There was one at Rough and Tumble like that one. Real cool to watch how it operates....................... :wink:

Jon, I really lost it on that one. Too funny. The guy even looks a lot like Dennis: same intensity, same positive mental outlook, same love of animals, smart enough not to waste money on gasoline.

My wife's plannin' on visiting her brother in Lancaster in the next couple of weeks. I've got a couple of vacation days left. Do ya think,....maybe,......, well, it's a long shot.
