Here's my sorry story, that it may not befall any of you other drunks and perverts...
I was editing my signature in my profile, and noticed that my e-mail address was my former one, so I changed that also, and hit 'submit'. I immediately got a window that said my user name was registered to another e-mail address, and I was no longer allowed to sign-in. I tried to re-register with a new name, and got a window that said that my e-mail belonged to another user, and wouldn't let me in.
My user name was for another e-mail.
My e-mail was for another user. WTF!
The other Catch-22 was that you can't contact an administrator unless you sign-in first, which I couldn't do.
Took a good week, and a lot of patient effort by our gracious moderator, helped by some e-mails from my hobo brothers, and the whole sorry mess got deleted, allowing me to re-register.
Glad to be back, sorry I missed my ol' friend JB. I know she was here... the bouquet lingers! The rest of you D's and P's, I missed youse guys!
