Pete, that was pretty good. I dub you the "Poet of the Rednecks" and nominate you for Poet-Laureate-in-Waiting for the Jungle, to assume office only in the advent of Tramp's unfortunate demise from an excess of alchohol.
Camelbeach? Hey you were in my neck of the woods. We finally got to the real beach yesterday, a.k.a. Sandy Hook. No lines, great natural rides and sound effects.

A good piece of verse, Petey, albeit, a bit driven by circumstances. Recommend enfilade fire from a crew served automatic weapon (burlap bag and the two sacks of potatoes can feed ammo belts to you).
If you have any buddies in the state ANG you can call in a strike from a Puff.
Willy, it's great to see you. Thought you wuz riding a reefer down to the Sunshine state. ?Habla expanol?
Don't know that the alcohol will get Trampy, but that uni stuff is dangerous.
The benefit of enfilading the enemy is that, by firing along the long axis, it is relatively easy to hit a target (or several targets). Raising or lowering the aim of a weapon merely directs the fire to a different point along the axis of the position, though any rotation of the weapon is more likely to result in a miss. Enfilade fire takes advantage of the fact that aiming at a target is relatively easier than correctly estimating the range to avoid shooting too long or short. The less desirable alternative is to fire from an oblique angle which requires precise aim to hit a target. Raising or lowering the aim when firing obliquely results in the target being straddled, while rotation redirects fire towards an alternate target. Finally, shells that miss the target are more likely to hit a different enemy if firing down a line of troops rather than across their position.

Keep at it on the language study, Willy. I learned Spanish as an adult many years after taking less practical languages in HS and college. I took classes in an adult school at the local HS.
If you want to go it alone, I can't reccommend the Rosetta Stone products enough. I have learned my wife's native language, Farsi, in two years. That includes speaking, hearing, reading, and learning to write. Pronunciation is emphasized interactively by comparing a signal analysis of your voice (graphically represented) through a microphone with standard patterns. My wife thinks I have a Southern accent. She means something other than Mississippi, though.
I've seen the Spanish version and it is very good; trouble is Mexicans and Cuban's will think you sound like a gay Columbian as the course speakers have a Castellian vocabulary and that is considered as being very affected. Don't ask for suitcases in an airport. You'll get something you never expected.
These things are several hundred dollars, but you can seek them out on ebay. You will have more fun with it if there is somebody to talk with. Most people are pretty encouraging about your learning their language.

The rumors of our demise are vastly premature!
What a day. It will have to come in installments.
But first, here's the big guy on his JD-B, a two cylinder engine with a deep loping bark that sounds like a Harley motor on steroids. We were on our way back from the flea market, where I scored a belt pulley for my Farmall-SA, which can be seen between Hev's feet. Got a pair of front headlights for the SA too, and a rear lamp from a '37 Ford which I'm going to try to adapt to use on my Low-Glide. (I'm not sure... it might be one of those crash-and-burn-ideas. LOL)
We were there from 0900 until 2300, and I doubt if I saw half of the show. It was HUGE!! And set smack in the middle of the most eye-achingly beautiful pastoral Amish Pennsylvania countryside. It covered so much acreage that it was in conservation of energy (and had NOthing to do with looking cool
) that we rode the B around this monstrous show.
At 2330, we were at Hev's camp, where we indeed rang the cups, toasted the hobos, and felt bad for all you losers who didn't get to join me and Hev in one of the more fascinating days of my life.
Here's to you guys!
To be continued...
(Look at our respective arms. I STILL think I can take Hev in an arm-wrestle! LOL
)
(And don't worry. The beer can I'm knocking over was empty. Good thing, too. It's embarrassing to be caught licking a tablecloth
)

San,
That was not a conclusion. What I meant to say was, "Are you kidding me?" I probably said something else. Using a computer that works left to right with a language that reads right to left is very confusing. (And I forgot the question mark.) Anyway, ﺵﺎﺒﺩﺎﺸ ‘ﺕﻴﻨﻬﺘ ‘ﻙﻴﺭﺒ (congratulations) on learning farsi.
