While I haven't figured out for sure what this model is. It is very unique. Kind of looks like a hobo shack on wheels. What kind of a railroad would it have been used on. Is it modeled after a prototype.

Mow work car - workshop on wheels - fix whatever on site. Short line; branch line, logging, whatever.....get it done line. Specific prototype - no. A noted a page or 3 back - based on pictures of a larger scale kit that I saw offered. A few photos and it's build your own; more fun doing that anyway.

Next car will be fun, too.

This is a very good thread. Looking forward to seeing the next creation.

Always interesting to see the item being constructed and how it was done. :D :D :D

I have thought so and will continue here.

I started the next car on the prior page; fun with hole saws,

Learned one of mine is more than a bit dull; smoke alarm did not go off but it had to be a near thing :!:

Kansas City, Pittsburg & Gulf...I'd never heard of that line. Pretty interesting.

In part, yes, but also L&N had a MoW car with a similar tank on it just for water.

We’ll see how this goes. Looks very difficult to follow along. I’ve had this kit for a while and I’m working on an On30 logging/mill line to incorporate into my 3 rail layout.
