The Ukraine has 16 nuclear power plants, Russian built that they inherited from Russia. If those power plants get hit and go into meltdown. The radiation will make the Ukraine and a lot of Europe unlivable. The Ukraine has a population of 44 million people. Can the rest of Europe handle a migration of all those people.
Russia has been a big supplier of Fertilizer to the world. The ammonia needed comes from natural gas. The Ukraine is big in agriculture and supplies Europe with a lot of food. If you think the price of gas is a problem wait until you see the price of food in the next few months.
This whole mess is over one issue. The Ukraine Joining NATO. Who has been pushing for that ?
Go back to 2014 when Obama, Biden and Hillary Clinton Got involved in the Ukraine and encouraged the Ukrainians to dispose of the Russian influenced government. The result of that was Russia annexed Crimea. That is where Russia's only warm water naval base is located..The port city of Sevastopol serves as the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. They have had that base way before WW2. In fact this was all part of Russia for decades. They didn't have to invade. Their military was already there.
I can't find that Trump was pushing for the Ukraine was to join NATO.
Any country that would allow a company to hired a DRUG addicted idiot like Hunter Biden and pay him a million dollars so they can have access to the president has got to be totally corrupt....

That's the somewhat larger picture of consequences as to everything bad that will happen if this continues. When Chernobyl happened, radiation was being detected all over Europe.......worrying about 44 million people is relatively small.
Ukraine and Russia goes back a long time; Stalin nearly starved the country to death. Being used as a pawn by Russia is nothing new.
