I've got a long drive back from the coast coming up. And a little 3 year old who's waiting for his dad. Maybe if I'm not getting in to late we can hang out in the train room for a bit. That would make our day.

I finally had a chance to unbox and lube the C&NW streamliners that arrived last week. They're pretty stunning behind the E-4!!! I'll try to get out there tonight and take some pictures.
Hopefully the 20th Century Streamliners will show up this summer for the Dreyfuss. I need to expand the little train house!!!!!

Thanks webenda, and thank you JON for that phone call - sorry I missed it!!!!! But I love those train whistles on the message! Direct from Missisisisiisissippppit! So cool. Thanks, that was very sweet, I loved it.

We just had a lovely day up here is all. Tramp made me my favorite breakfast and drove me up through Acadia which was the best. When we got back in the Impala after checking out the summit of Cadillac mountain, there was a little gold box from the jewelry store on the front seat. He's awful good at that. And the rest of the day/evening was even better but I'd better leave that kind of vague since Bill layed down the new law.

So nice to be back home in New England.

Wicked weather rolling through here!! The wife and son are in the storm shelter. I'm manning the house, drinking beer, and hanging out with Pluto the dog. I fear nothing. Well, almost nothing. Big hairy naked chicks covered in sticky purple glitter with a lot of make up that shoot bottle rockets out of their butt kinda scare me. Actually they scare me plenty. I can't go into detail right now, so just take my word on it.
