Re: Seen in Print
Cute.
Re: Seen in Print
I got this in print by e-mail so I am reporting it here.
My subscription to the OGR magazine expired last November.
Today I got a notice to renew it because I only have 3021485 issues left.
If so, why do I need to renew?
Seriously, if I wanted to renew I would have long ago.
My CTT subscription ended at the same time.
Ten tears ago I subscribed to every O scale mag and all
real railroad mags I could find.
Now I subscribe only to O Scale Trains and I am a 3 railer.

There is a thread on OGR about that; it seems that your account number got transposed to the "issues remaining" slot.

Re: Seen in Print
Somehow, over the past couple of years, I have lost interest in model-railroading magazines, especially via subscriptions, for some reason. I also received that renewal request from OGR and just didn't respond. Plus, my local hardware-hobby store went out of business, so I can't just walk in and pick up several available RR mags there any further, and with York TCA Meets being absent from the scene, I have lost two resources.
I'm not sure why, but I'm not fazed by it all, anymore, though I do sincerely hope everyone else in our hobby is happy and active.

Looking at that is enough to kill an erection.

This is much better.

Yup, just like a toy train locomotive being nowhere near standing alongside or on a real-life locomotive.
The toy vs the real is so far apart there is really no comparing the satisfaction acquired.
