Sort of a Zen-like time for me -- far less thinking and just clearing the mind from the rest of the day.
What if lollipops moaned every time we licked them?

Yes, some days are like that.

The field of photography had to fight a tough and controversial battle in terms of being considered an art form. Nowadays, photography is considered an art form as valid as any other, and there are multiple museums and galleries exhibiting photographic work. ...

Street art by Google Streets camera.

Such a day, such a moment, will never, ever come for me because the idea of my bending down to pick-up and package a dog's deposits (comments on our society?) on a required daily (at least) basis is completely out of any world of possibilities.

I don't even like dogs much, although they seem accepting of me, even though I consider them all to be bullies, no matter the size or breed.

I'll get a dog when I can discover one that can wipe his own booty and tidy-up as a conclusion to its public display of bodily function.
 corny, right.
This posting by me deserves a big  and a
P.S. Keeping a Kittylitter Box/contraption is the closest I have ever allowed myself to get to such tasks. Emptying such an object can take a person's breath away, not to mention hearing, senses of touch and smell, and vision, temporarily, at least, in my experience :( :!:

Maybe you're more suited to a goldfish.

We had a cat that would not do that but would flush the toilet and watch the water. When the water stopped the cat would restart it.
It also would catch crumpled cigarette packs and return them to the throwee to do more but it never learned to do anything useful.

I think, at this stage in my life, I'm more suited to petting other people's pets.

I'm with you Murph. Being tethered to an animal while it takes a dump in public seems somehow......... undignified. And then picking up the poop which I imagine to be disgustingly warm is just unthinkable. I have seen people actually wipe their dogs' butts which you will not catch me doing.

I do understand that people love their pets and respect that, but some aspects of dog ownership are just not for me.

So yes, I have tropical fish.
