Do not wait to strike till the iron is hot; but make it hot by striking.

Are you calling Saul to solve the mystery?
There are many definitions. I'll offer this:
A hot woman is good for eye candy but to date one is an enormous task.
A tiger woman will pursue you. To avoid dating one is an enormous task.

No Murph, the Lyrid meteor shower this morning was not extraterrestrials zooming past Earth on an extraterrestrial highway.

Good to know, and yet, a little disappointing .

Re: Seen in Print
I often complain about the way Chinese advertising or instruction manuals are translated into English. The literal translation often misses the meaning for English speaking people.
Today I am going to complain about a saying that was translated into good English but should have been translated literally.
Proper English can be seen at the bottom of Rufus' recent posts.

The saying came from this graffiti seen in print on a Hong Kong wall.

I did the literal translation using Google translate. An English teacher, such as Murph, might have a problem with the present tense being used in both the beginning and ending of the statement. But to translate the end to say "...the normal we had..." is totally wrong. The protests that started March 31, 2019 over a proposed law allowing extradition of criminals from Hong Kong to the jurisdiction where the crime was committed are still ongoing.
"Normal" is what they have now. Hong Kong is ruled by China. The protesters plan to continue protesting until Hong Kong is free from China's rule.
The statement, "We cannot return to normal..." means they will not stop protesting until their goal is reached. Capisce?

Smart dog, dumb owners.
Once I built a railroad, I made it run,
Made it race against time.
Once I built a railroad, now it's done --
Brother, can you spare a dime?
