Siphonophore
UFO-like creature (150' long) found in W. Australia's ocean's deepest canyons, made up of Zooids.

(I wish I could show you the photo I have of it.)

Though it differs depending on age and activity level, adult males generally require 2,000-3000 calories per day to maintain weight while adult females need around 1,600-2,400 according to the U.S Department of Health.

3600 kcal? That ought to feed everyone in the boat for years.

Those "bars" look like they were sawed off of a granite countertop. Hmmmmmm, chewey.

Brilliant! Positively! Plus, the author of that notice/advertisement(?) seems all the more dubious, to me, since the use of "Do" is erroneous. It should be "Due," and anytime a person's grammar is faulty, it makes them a little (and sometimes, significantly,) less legitimate in my mind.
