The hinge on the lavatory door on the Millennium Falcon......which is another way of saying just how much I stink at this! Thinking back, even when the Dirt Man (miss you Dirt) would show the whole magilla, I didn't know what the Hell it was!

I've heard it referred to the whole load on a cement truck or the length of a belt of rounds for a .30 machine gun.

Actually, that's pretty damn close Murph...it's a one-pounder 37mm Hotchkiss Revolving Cannon, vintage late-1800's:

This thing has been guarding the American Legion lodge here in Westminster for as long as I can remember. I can recall climbing on it when I was a kid. Various bits are missing, i.e. the crank, the firing pin, the breech has a big crack in it (probably from winter ice)...still impressive. Must have been a "blast" holding that grip and cranking away...deafening.
