In case you are wondering... Sale is a town in Trafford, Greater Manchester, England. Historically in Cheshire, it is on the south bank of the River Mersey, 1.9 miles south of Stretford, 2.5 miles northeast of Altrincham, and 5.2 miles southwest of Manchester.

Can't vouch for the photo, but I think extra digits are NOT all that uncommon. Went to high school with a guy that had a thumb and 5 fingers on each hand.
