Jon I have the pressroom mechanic getting you the parts,I'm gonna post some pics with a ruler so you can look at the size and decide if it's gonna be right for the project.
I went up in the penthouse and looked at some and I think they will work.
I'll let you be the judge!
The down spout screws on with a brass fitting so if you want these, I'll put the fittings in the lathe at work and round them off nicely so if you paint them or whatever they wont look like a big *** nut on the bottom.

This engine has been test run and the front leading trucks have been slightly modified so that the engine will run on 072 curves and some lead has been added to them too to keep them on the track.

OK Jon,here it is,,
As you can see (I hope) It's right at 3" wide and 4" tall,
What I did on the last picture is turn the lube piston upside down to make a roof.
The black octagnal thing is the lid that screws on the top,Don't know if you want it or not.
I thought the brass nut stayed on the bottom but it doesn't (witch may be better.
Let me know if you want it! We throw these away all the time!

Jon I have another version of this with a lip about the size of a walkway around (what would be the bottom) the lower part ,It's metal and the same size,,If you want I may send it too,it may work better or if you decide to make more I can send more.
If you think they are too small in diameter mabey they'll work as a sand tower.Altough I think these will work for what you want to do,if not no biggie!
