My not-exactly-tongue-in-cheek right wing conservative posts are representative of my viewpoint. I will debate the merits of a right wing conservative stance until the end of time, because I believe in it.

With that said, it appears I have offended those whose house this is. There are those who have been here much longer than I, making this more thier "roost" than mine.

It would be like me barging into your living room and offending your family or guests.

As for your "who me?", bullshit, truth be told, I had no idea what was going, nor did iI find it believable that folks could get themselves so rattled over postings on a message board.

If there is something I haven't spelled out for you clearly here, just let me know, and I will gladly be more blunt. Personally, I don't feel it is appropriate for me to upset the MTJ apple cart or status quo because of the reception my posts have received.

My point is, if you start threads like "historical perspective", what do you expect? About half of the readers won't agree. After all, this is a train forum, not a right wing forum. So why start it at all? To what purpose?

You missed the point.

First regarding Historical Perspective, I would guess the make up here is 50/50. Half the folks here got a kick out of it, half didn't. Contrary to your opinion, I can take as much as I dish out.

However, I am not going to be responsible for Daisy and Tramp bolting because they find me offensive. MJT is their forum, not mine, it was here before I showed up.

I'm not going to have folks pointing at me as the reason two of their originals have left, so I gracefully bow out.
