Maybe Tramp took up woodworking, or maybe he's locked in the kitchen writing like mad. He can't be too far from the refrigerator, that's where the cold beer is. J()()()(()()NNNNNNNN! Tramp's mysteriously just fine. Trains are all put away though. I thought he was joking, but he wasn't. I was even going to make a whole forest of freezer trees for them to run through. He claims they're not coming out again for at least two years if ever, and he's selling his engines. But he's fine. Very fine in fact.

Tramp is in Ojai cooling his heels until the patrols in Oxnard step down and he can make his way into town. He has a rendevous at the Buckhorn Saloon over on Vineyard Ave. You know the one between E. Stroube and E. Collins and a block NE of El Rio? There's a halfway house over on Sycamore where they don't ask questions. And they know a cue stick is a weapon.

She was known in the neighborhood around Vineyard Avenue as La Punta Hedionda. He was known as El Pachucolito Blanco. It was unknown if the rusty Colt she nerviously fingered would blow her hand off or put a crater in his face.
