Thanks Healey, pics of the old board speedways are rare. The last one was in Altoona, it burned around 1932.

The last car in that pic looks like a Miller front drive. 91.5 cubic inch straight eight with double overhead cams and a centrifugal supercharger producing 300+ horsepower.

Nice job on Rif-Raf's Spitfire.

What are "Rocker Boxes" shown in the third photo where it says "rocker boxes were raced"? I've never seen anything like that. At 1st thought they were skateboards, but don't see how that would work.

Jim - Sebring in the UK manufactures a kit version of the AH 3000, one (SX) is classic in form, the other (MX) is tricked out a bit. That might be what we're seeing here.

There were kits in the 60's to convert an MGB to Ford 289 power, wonder if this was a modification of that kit to fit this chassis. If it is, that would be one wild ride!
