To those of us that grew up during this period, although we may have abhorred the actions of the Nazis, they did have some cool vehicles.
They were also great fun to drop "bombs" on either from a plane or by cannon. We didn't care a whole lot about realities but we had fun and
the Allies always won.

I'm the one who used fun and bombs together.
Please remember that we were kids, I was 7-11 during the war, and we, the good guys, always won.
We did see the newsreels and we were getting even. Of course this continued after the war and
the newsreels were even worse. Most kids our age during those times were patriotic and not anti-war.
That would be the same as being anti American. Some of us later may have changed our ideas
about war but at that time we were all Americans in our group. Many of my friends grand parents
had not been in this country for a long time and did let us know how they felt about European events
and in most cases they were extremely pro American.

I guess it depends on who you are blowing up. Nazi's after the atrocities they did.......who cares. Japan after the sneak attack on Pearl Harbor....who cares. ISIS.....who cares. Radical Islamist who cut off peoples heads.....who cares. You need to take this in perspective. I don't believe in turning the other cheek because the world has proven you'll get the other cheek slapped. I realize Roger was talking about how children felt and what games they played during and after the war.....but I think it plays out in current events too.

Only the cross in the White House chapel will remain for worship. “Mr Trump doesn’t see the need to provide prayer rugs and false idols in a house built by Christians. Washington, DC offers a diverse cultural centre for the worship of any kind. There was no SNEAK attack on Pearl Harbor. It has been fully documented that out government knew weeks in advance and allowed it to happen for a number of reasons. Besides, our government is just a puppet for International bankers who run everything. People wonder why things are screwed up? They are intended that way by those in power. But only morons don't know this stuff by now.
