Hmmm. We received a one-year-old German Shepherd male when our youngest daughter was about 18 months old. She treated Brutus as her own personal stuffed animal, including the occasional finger in his eye. He put up with this until he'd had enough and then he'd lick her face, which totally distracted her.Tom Dempsey wrote:That would be my thought, no dogs gonna' put up with a finger in the eye.
