O' course, I've been near roadkill, too, even of deer, knocked down and percolating on a hot asphalt road - the kind where the edges of the pavement got sticky it was so hot - in an August noon sun; that can slap ya' around a bit, too, especially if you're walking or jogging by and can't escape quickly enough or just roll-up yer windows.

Jogging?
If I think real hard about the past I can remember jogging.
It has been @30 years since I have been able to jog.
I was never a fast runner nor a marathon runner but could
run several miles, the length of my home town, very easily.
That was about four miles. No sweat.

Think more of an invisible cloud rolling across an open field that when it hits drops you to your knees, and you choke so hard that you can't breathe, and your eyes water and you can't see........now you're downwind of a corporate pig farm.
