Sitting & relaxing? What is this sitting & relaxing that you write about?

It's an acquired taste and requires careful application and immersion.

Oh, it's like Jello.......or latex.

Rufus,
Thanks for asking. Schools throughout south Georgia are closed tomorrow [Friday] and much to my surprise football games are post-poned.
I did the usual first of month grocery shopping today and did not notice extra shoppers. Just seemed as usual. Had to go shopping alone today because wife had a knee replacement three weeks ago. Everything seems to be OK but she just can't stay on it very long yet.
The previous two hurricanes have made the area people nonchalant about them. With those there was a mass exodus in the area and the hurricanes changed direction or died out so many are just ignoring the storm. With this one we have been told to expect a lot of rain. We do need rain in this area but not a deluge.

The hot tub might be just what I need. :D

Typical Saturday. 85 degrees at 10:30 AM. Nothing in my neighborhood has changed. I guess that is a good thing.
I haven't heard yet today but after any blow Savannah has many problems that may take days to clear up.
Apparently they have no major problems. The local TV stations may find a way to get some credit for that.
They were on the air overnight Thursday and all day Friday showing people standing in the rain in various parts
of town. Of course Hilton Head was included. One fun part would be when the arrival/departure board was shown
at the airport and all would be cancelled. I don't know why but I thought it was odd to keep showing that. Maybe
it was the "misery loves company" syndrome. The big news will be when all of the football games that were
postponed will be made up. Who in this area knows or cares about any other sport or when the missed day of
SCHOOL will be made up. Ah well. Glad I am a retired teacher.

The Georgia game is home in the Dome so all is good,

Oh, there's another sport? Who knew?
In my house, it's all about Buckeye football :)

High school football in Georgia is almost as important as high school football in Ohio.
Georgia jocks think that there are no more avid sports fans than those in Georgia.
I know better. IMHO much stronger in Ohio. I remember when Life magazine in
the1950s proclaimed Ohio THE football state. On the cover of the magazine were
two linemen from two schools with one of the longest and bitterest rivalries,
Martins Ferry and my hometown Bellaire. I realize that a lot has changed in the 60+
years since then but not that rivalry or the status of football in Ohio.
I must admit that I am not a big sports fan and my action at football games was
with the band, 8 years of participation and 43 years of teaching.
I don't care what any Georgia fan says, or fan any school for that matter, there is no
other rivalry like Michigan and Ohio State.

So Rex, where are you from?

Family is from Ohio. Therefore, I had no choice of which college to attend.
Otherwise, born in Virginia, raised in Mississippi, finished HS in Phila suburb (Eagles fan-teaches character), OSU for college, back to Phila area for work, finished in CA. Dislike all CA sports reams, especially USC.
