My best thank you to you Jon (well at least my best by proxy) for my very first model train car, such a cool coal hopper, I love it so much - and guess what? Only a few days now till TRAIN SEASON OPENS up here downeast. I'll be sure to send a photo of it in action. You're so sweet, and now I'll think of you every time I see big lumps of coal!
And thank you Pete, I'm so touched to have my own hobo tin cup, and your sweet card, truly, thank you. I'm going to have oatmeal in it tomorrow morning, and then soup in it for lunch, then beer for dinner. And so cool to have the same PRR kind as Tramp's! My dad actually thought it was really cool too and told me he used to ride the P&LE line, which is in your state, do you know what it stands for?
