We have about 2,000 feet down so far of the 2'. Shooting for at least a mile. We already have about 5,000 of 7 1/2".
I'm looking forward to getting the 2' loop closed. Then I can really get to work on my 2' loco. The owner of the property is getting close to finishing his 2' Challenger. Should really be something to see.

Capt, now we need some pics of those locos! Will these be them same type as you've posted before, ie, running on propane?

The track is located a little north of Bostwick Florida which is about 20 miles southwest of Jacksonville.
If I remember right, most of the pictures I've posted before were for the 7 1/2" gauge. Some of them run on propane and some on coal.
The last pictures are of the 2' gauge track. We only have a 0-4-0 diesel switcher and a highrailer running on the track right now.
The owners 2' Challenger will be coal fired as will mine. He still has some boiler work to do. The frame, and running gear for the Challenger is pretty much complete. He hopes to have it running by next spring.
This is the only picture I have of the 2' power right now.

The highrailer is a riding lawnmower with rail wheels added to it.

Every Friday nite we lite candles on our mantle - a family tradition. One in memory of my Dad, one in memory of a good friend we lost a few years ago. We add to these for friends in need. We're up to six at present, including one for Clousers brother.

Friday we'll go to seven - one for Jon's family.

I truely touched by you all. I could'nt be in any better company of friends. My sister had two more surgeries yesterday, and we're taking things one day at a time.
I sure hope ol' Gomer's is open tonight!!! :wink:
