This seems to have been an interesting and diverse show or whatever it is.

Look at all the room they have there for a show! Even the flea market side has plenty of room to spread out their wares. Sure ain't like R & T! How about that Triumph racer. I remember the 650 Bonnevilles, and I believe in my youth, the Tiger was a 500cc, but I may be wrong. Later came the Trident, and I can't even remember if that was a 750 or 850cc bike. In the late '60s, the Brits were competing amongst themselves for market share, and the competition between Triumph, BSA, and Norton was pretty fierce. If one had a 750, the other would come out with an 800 or 850cc. They were beautiful, but out of my league. My younger brother later owned a 750 Tiger, which was pretty much the same bike as the Bonneville, but just a single carb and the Bonnie had twins. My brother still has that bike down in the basement. He threw a rod through the block and never attempted to fix it. He's got a Harley now.
Watched a program today on RFD TV about old tractor collectors. I remember the Western Auto Stores, but I never knew they had a rider named the Wizard. Built for WA by Bolens, but without the frills, which made it a little less expensive.

Looks like a great event...was that held at the aerodrome or up at the county fairgrounds?

One of my best buys ever is a small battery charger I got at WA. I can hold it in one hand. I bet I have had it for 50 or so years, and I have charged countless batteries over the years. I doubt I paid more than $5 for it!

Hostetter's on the square in Greencastle. In my youth, this was the Western Auto and continued to be until maybe 15-18 years ago.....not sure on that since I have to count tractor batteries....2nd floor had the toys and bicycles and "good stuff".

And, the building is still there on the square and is a rather attractive one these days.

I was thinking of talking to Andre about his designing a laser cut version of it.

It is a handsome li'l bugger. Those side windows are an esp. nice feature which allow its use on such a corner or ignored if the building is used within a row, even inviting use of such a wall alongside a narrow walkway-alley between two closely situated buildings next to each other, as I am sure we have all seen.

Robert, another outstanding photo essay! Beautiful bunch of pictures. Thanks for posting.

That Indian, that Henderson... they give me goosebumps...

Love this one too... these old tractors that look like they were put together by committees that couldn't agree on anything...

A gorgeous show. I've added their website to my 'favorites'. If and when I ever get to retire, I'd like to check it out in person.
