the good ole pa. gasoline blues. this stuff is only made for a 3 week long shelf life. Best way to get rid of that woodpecker is with a large beach ball that looks like an eyeball. Hang the beach ball 10 ft. off the ground. The woodpecker thinks a bird of prey is coming for him. I used the white beach ball

I cut down his favorite tree..............and burnt it.

Sat outside with the dogs yesterday evening...was treated to the sound of a downy woodpecker drumming on a downspout at the back of the house. That's what I get for taunting... Amazing how much racket can be created by a bird five inches tall...

We have them in this area also but they have never attacked my house or buildings.

Not sure how territorial those critters are, but hanging up something with a mirror surface (that is unbreakable) might provide interesting results.

The "residence" of one of my former employers had a landscaped atrium which was enclosed on 4 sides, and open to the sky at the top. On one of those sides, there was a cafeteria with windows looking into the landscaped space.

A male cardinal found his way into the place and as soon as he saw his reflection, he immediately attacked. He finally tired of fighting this "relentless" foe and disappeared, never to return.

Might be a way to coerce your pet to move onward if that be your preference.

Must be Spring. Things have crawled to the speed of slug here.

The fire hydrants are already fainting from the heat and summer is still two months away.



The desert has just about turned all yellow with flowers.
