That roof is really what caught my eye. Not sure I've seen a pitched clerestory roof like that before on any car. Now I can make use of that prototype info to build one onto a model someday,

And I was unaware of trolley lines running along dirt roads- never saw that before - brick, yes, all around and in Pittsburgh, but not dirt. Somehow, I've always associated dirt Main Streets with the "cowboy" era (too much '50s black-n-white tv and Hollywood westerns?) and trolleys with a more industrial post-war USA.

My maternal grandfather was a trolley motorman, in McKeesport, PA, first operating orange colored trolleys much like that one pictured, and with rows of narrow metal bars covering the bottom several inches of the openable windows, and a kind of "ratan" surfaced seating, but later in my youth trolleys changed over in Pittsburgh to a sleeker red-n-cream colored model that was longer and seemed zippier and more robust and had one-piece fiberglass/plastic(?) "bucket" seats that you could slide around in.

No idea. Wish they were not there...........

The X's can be erased easily on a digital copy. While I was at it, I did some fade correction.

Well, this one sure got my attention in that regard. I may look back at the other photos and learn more. Thanks for all you have shared. Very enjoyable.

I just noticed the two-story birdhouse at the curb by the front door. Neat detail.

Might be a 3 story house -- used to be a fairly common practice to have those in the center square areas on towns in south central PA -- Purple Martin houses.
