Thank you Murph. Baker's advertising doesn't do the figures justice at all. The examples you've shown us not only have interesting poses but interesting character in their faces. Almost as good as G scale characters.

I wrote about that in the resources forum when I posted the link more'n a year ago. The Baker's site has some serious resolution problems. Man, when you click on individual pieces and they're blown up, you can't see the detail at all. It would serve him well in sales to increase the resolution, but it's a great source and he has more figures than any other company that I know of.

I'll have to look around for a hard copy of it.

Rt. 30 at one time may have gone through Fort Loudon, but not within my lifetime. But, they did replace the flashing red light with a full red light signal at the intersection with Rt.75 in past couple of years. Civilization slowly encroaches towards my haven in the woods. Building permits are not required, septic is regulated, and they even started to re-pave Rt-75 up near my end of the county.......

Might have to think about getting a phone line installed someday.

The intent is to escape.....and get a bit of R&R. That can include a bit of "honest work", e.g., clearing brush, and cutting wood, and whatever maintainance is needed.....

I drove through Waynesboro a week or so ago on my way to Hagersbush from Fayetteville. BTW, the "tankless tank car" is no longer tankless; however the re-builder(s) forgot to re-install the drain. Anyway, it does look nice all shiny silver.
