Lucas,
Do you get any passenger trains in your area?

Roger, yes! We get several Amtrak trains from Detroit-Chicago. The service is subsidized by MDOT and good portion of the route is owned by Amtrak so we enjoy 110 mph speeds and pretty reliable service. Michigan corridor Amtrak recently received new Siemens Charger locomotives and we should be getting hew passenger coaches in the next couple years.

Thanks, Lucas. Interesting paint scheme. Too bad it doesn't match anything. I wonder if there are plans to paint cars to match?

Yes and they still look like the ones that were called "toasters".

As I have said before, I am not a fan of graffiti but now and then there is some that is actually interesting and very nice to see.
I have noticed that some do not paint over needed railroad information and I appreciate that.
Admit that I do not know much about it so probably should keep mouth shut.

It is widely-followed protocol to not cover reporting marks, because that’s really the only way to get your work covered up. As long as those aren’t tampered with, anything goes.

This must be a relatively new position and I find that it might be agreeable. I know that was a problem in the past and I noticed on one of your photos that the reporting marks are not covered.I wonder how and when and by whom some agreement was made.
Thanks for the info.
