Did you get any close-up photos of those two depressed-center flats? If you did, please post them as they look supremely interesting. TIA

Re: Detroit Railfanning
I worry about you, Lucas, out there by yourself. There are all kinds of miscreants lurking, ever alert and at the ready to do harm and mischief - at the very least - especially if it appears you have something shiny or of value on your person. Yes, I am concerned about you in those environs.

Spent a few hours in the Toledo area yesterday, did ok number-wise.
Milbury, OH

Vickers Diamond in Northwood, OH

Swanton, OH

Toledo Amtrak station

Stopped in Wyandotte to catch CN M385 on my way back to Detroit. GTW GP40-2 6420 was trailing 3 of 3. This is the last GP40-2 left on the GTW roster, and it's still in blue.

Lucas,
When did W&LE start using that grey and blue scheme?
In one of the above photos there is a bright red caboose in the background. Whose and why?
You are out of college now(?) and doimg what? Hopefully you are still playing.
