That is sad to hear. I grew up in Tacoma, WA, about 40 miles south of Cox. I bought my first postwar steamers from him in 1981. A 681 and 2055 along with a ZW transformer. He had a vaulted basement with several corridors full of pre and postwar trains which I only caught glimpses of. Tons and tons of stuff. He signed me in the TCA in 82 and was auctioneer at the local meets. How time flys when you're having fun.
