I recall that many of your "people" come from Baker.
On his website they all seem to be fairly ugly people.
A model of me would fit right in.My guess is that

IMHO Bakers figures seem to have more interesting poses than most others.
Mostly they do seem to be from a little earlier period than I model but I do think
I can find something I can use.

Thank you Murph. Baker's advertising doesn't do the figures justice at all. The examples you've shown us not only have interesting poses but interesting character in their faces. Almost as good as G scale characters.

Good to hear from you, Roger, and thank you for your good wishes about York.

Regrading photos, I take about a half dozen of each diorama and vignette I craft, for my records. Every Insta-Rama you have seen so far was sold. The shots are edited, cropped close-ups for your reference about Roy's fugures, all of which he hand-paints. Did you notice he even gets details such as the leather belts painted precisely within their boundaries, and even the Boy Scout brass badges are neat and correct (for example.)

Thank you, especially, for your approval of my placement of figures. That is one of my favorite parts when I craft a scene.

Someone already said this and I agree,Bakers catalog pictures do not do justice to the figures.
Even with your great placement they would not look better.
Hope this makes sense.

I had looked at these figures in the past and thought that they would be good to use, but I'm going to have to see if I can put a few into some scenes to be installed on my layout. The various horses and mules are also something that I can use, but I need to procure some additional carts, wagons and buggies, too.
