I had an uncle who worked for the Pennsy for nearly fifty years.I never heard a bad word from him about the Pennsy until the merger with NYC.He thought there was too much overlap of trackage.He retired shortly after and is now dead.
Different people,different experiences.

Yesterday I drunk "Delirium tremens" Belgian strong Pale ale.Taste very rare, the first try I though that it was expired, the second try was better..
the color is like normal beer, rare for a pale ale. Recommended if you want to try something different but not for enjoy it constantly....IMO.

I also like to mow.Nothing special here except Bahaia [sp] grass.It covers the ground but shoots up to a foot high in a week.Makes the yard look bad.
We are ten inches behind for rainfall so far this year.That makes a deficit over fifty inches in the last four years.

I had one their beers called Autumn Fest this week end.

I grew up in Florida where mowing the lawn (St. Augustine Grass) was done almost year round. Started cutting our grass when I was 7 years old. By the time I was 12, I was mowing half the yards in our neighborhood. Bought my first car with "lawn mowing money".
I still mow year round and still enjoy it ... Bermuda grass in the warm weather and Fescue in the colder months.

That Bahia Grass is tough. We used to seed it in the pastures and it's almost impossible to kill. That's what the D.O.T. usually seeds along the interstates and roads. Those seed shoots that pop up overnight will dull a mower blade in a hurry. Remember my Uncle used to sharpen the mower blades after every mowing when cutting Bahia Grass.

Never tryed it. I had never heard of Yuengling until I came over here from the PGH. area. A guy I worked with said it was good and to try it. I tryed it and di not even like the taste of it, Of course I was still smoking then. I was drinking BLATZ and there was only one place in Pottstown that would get it for me. Well he sold his dist. and I talked to the new guy and he said he would try to get it in, but said he couldn't get it from his Dist. About 6 months the guy that had sold the place bought it back and I told him that the other guy couldn't get BLATZ in. He said he would try to get it in again for me as he said he had me and one other guy that bought it. Well In mean time I quit smoking and even Blatz didn't taste good anymore as the guy came through and got about 6 cases in. Well I tryed Yuengling again and that was the only beer that I liked. I aplogised (SP) to the guy and said I liked that he went through the trouble to get it in for me but that since I quit smoking it didn't taste good any more. He said he realized taste change wien you smoke or not and to not worry about and to just stay off the smokes...By the way he still smokes.
