Got this off a tractor forum I frequent:
A old farmer had a wife who nagged him unmercifully. From morning to night, she was always complaining about something. Only time he got any relief was when plowing with his old mule. One day out plowing, his wife brought lunch to the field. He drove the old mule into the shade and sat down to eat. Immediately his wife begin to nag, nag, nag, it just went on and on. All at once the mule kicked her in back of head and she died on the spot.
At the funeral several days later, the minister noticed something odd. When a woman mourner approached the farmer, he would listen and shake his head in agreement, but when the men approached him he would shake head in disagreement. After the funeral, the minister asked the farmer about his reactions. The farmer said, well the women would come up and say something about how nice my wife or dress looked and I would agree. "What about the men?", the minister asked. Well, he says, they all wanted to know if the mule was for sale.

Aint had much time for any railroadin' due to the kids fall sports,were having a good time though.
Every now and then I sneek out and make a few laps on the railroad though!

Don't I know that Penn!
I don't have any kids of my own in H.S. sports, but, I do cover most all of the games for work.
Keeps me away from the RR, both at home and at the club much more than I want to be.
Project list is gettin longer, extensions on my layout at the club, laying track on the 3 rail at home, got a brass RS-3 to paint, a Max Grey tender to detail for my "WM" H-8 (actually a Rivarossi 0-8-0 made to look like a WM 2-8-0) a Flyer locomotive to convert to can motor and elec. reverse unit, several decal projects, and planning this years Christmas layout.
I've been slipping on that recently, just setting up a loop, and calling it good.
I think this year, I'll pull out all the stops, put every accessory and doo-dad out.
