Re: Seen in Print
For what candy bars costs these days, I expect made in USA. Nothing but greed and they're destroying the country in the process.

Pa hasn't increased its minimum wage in 15 years --> $7.25 an hour.
Can you live on that?
Warehouse jobs in PA are paying $18/hr to start.
As the literacy rate declines, you’ll ask yourself why the quality of life continues to deteriorate in ways large and small, and in almost every instance the answer will be: because people stopped reading.
Re: Seen in Print
Not sure who would take a $7.25 an hour job. More than just warehouses pay $18.00 around me.

Apparently that's what's expected by some these days............otherwise you are too lazy to get a job.

That might be so depending on where you live. Bucks, not unless you're sharing a house with 5 other guys.
Franklin........different story entirely.
So, $7.25 in your state min. and that tells you what......

It’s hard to say what it tells me. Pa has had both parties in charge during that 15 year period. Some would say” the Amish factor into a lot of labor laws.” I can’t say if “ that holds true” im sitting at the wawa in White Haven. Hickory Run exit of the turnpike. Pocono Mt area. They have a sign.$ 17 per hour for the overnight. $13 day shift. I dont know if you could make it here on that.

It tells you that the state has never supported a decent hourly wage - it sucked when I worked in PA and it still does.
Hilarious..........I guess that some people just need someone else to blame for all their own poor decisions and foolishness. The Amish I know are either subsistence farmers, specialty farmers, or work in construction making better than the minimum wage.

Given the global make up, that's probably high.....which will make some happy and some sad.
