As the literacy rate declines, you’ll ask yourself why the quality of life continues to deteriorate in ways large and small, and in almost every instance the answer will be: because people stopped reading.

I have been in front of those 2 doors many times. That's why I say the devil made me do it.

We don't always make the right decision. However the consequences are the same either way.

If you end up in front of those 2 choices, you probably made a bad choice in the past.

We don't always make the right decision.

Bad decision making is the hallmark of humanity

However the consequences are the same either way.

No, there's bad, worse, then there's "you've got to be fecking kidding me" bad.

Well, at the time there was a 2 day event where it seemed to be one of that level, where I thought my career was dead in the water and that was optimistic.  :( :( :(

But looking back in time, even that one instance fed into a very good outcome that furthered my career to the point where I could pursue just about anything I wanted to do professionally, and even to this day I'm still one of the leaders of my field getting invitations to write special point of view articles.
