I agree Chuck. The Shingle House Band appears to be made up of ordinary people of various backgrounds.
Can anyone read the sign on the building behind the band? It can't say what I think it says.

Went back to original photo. I think the sign says Commercial House? Also those are trolley tracks the guy with the tuba on the left is straddling.

The image on the forum was hard to read. I thought it might be some variation on the creek name that runs through. That did not work so I went to find original photo. Still not clear but I was able to figure out it was Commercial. Leading "C" is partially obscured and the trail ci seems to have been poorly painted, hence the confusion.
