Not interested as it is not a K-Line 21" car!
Seriously, it would not surprise me that it eventually gets scrapped on the spot.

There are several near me. Complex sold, they are scrapping them..can't give them away.
At least one is shortened. Well done, but shortened. Used as shops and offices.
Many years ago (25?) had a guy fairly local with a GN Wood Caboose. Rough, but all there on trucks and track, in the woods, like a getaway.
Said he'd give it away to get it gone.
Did the checking on permitting and transport, went back, then, THEN he said gimme ten grand.
Not another word. Turned around, walked to my car, and left.

A wise move, methinks!

Would seem to be a good use, but when it comes time to move them, a real problem.
Seems like something you'd see put to use on one of those shows on the DIY channel where someone would collect them onto a property, link them together, and make some sort of home out of them. There was one where they stacked up shipping container and made a house out of them....
