I love facebook and would like to buy Mark dinner. His company changed my retirement. I went 80 percent into FB. With my IRA. Against a lot of advice. It went from $64 up to $172. Even got me out of that failure American centrifuge. At 6 months shy of 50 FB was the last gamble of that size i take.

This morning, I received a call from 757 - 922-1746. When I said, "hello," I got silence.

Robot calls looking for you to say specific words, like "yes". Never say that word on the phone to anyone you do not know as it can be captured and used to authorize unwanted actions.

Some robot calls are from a computer calling all numbers in sequence, i.e., (973) 000-0000, (973) 000-0001... ... (973) 999-9999. If any phone is answered the number is logged and called by a human later. Expect a scam call soon just for picking up the phone.

Caller ID Spoofing

Caller ID spoofing is technology that allows you to alter the information forwarded to your caller ID in order to hide the true origin ID.

In simpler terms, caller ID spoofing allows you to display a phone number different than the actual number from which the call was placed. With caller ID spoofing, you can send and receive outgoing or incoming phone calls or texts that appear to be from any phone number of your choosing.

It's a different browser system that gives you the opportunity to escape Microsoft's Exploration of Idiocy, by introducing you to a new and improved version of idiocy. Washington school systems are in love with Google Chrome, you basically have to make sure the kiddo's laptops run it or stuff doesn't run so well.

Chrome is a Google product that is designed to integrate with the rest of Google's cloud based software, Calendar, Drive, Maps, Sheets, etc. This has been heavily marketed to educational sites by offering free or nearly free access to a lot of tools. Since there is tight integration between the components, some stuff doesn't work well if you use a different browser like FireFox or Edge (Microsoft's replacement for Internet Exploder). I suspect that Edge has similar properties/issues if you are not using Microsoft's cloud environment or if you try to access Microsoft Cloud products from a non Microsoft browser.

That you, Chuck. That is an interesting and informative additional perspective. In it, you mentioned maps. Notices about Chrome have been interposed when I have tried to do searches for various maps. Back a few years, circa 2012-15, when I used to plan trips to visit various clients, I used to be able to get to Google and access right down to "Street Level View" quickly, but that seems almost impossible to do nowadays. I have no idea why. So that is all the more why I am grateful for your explanation about Google Chrome. At least, now, I have more information to try to make decisions a bit more informed.
