We often hear about how much time we will need to spend in a defeated country to keep it "straight".
We and our allies beat the Axis countries in a relatively short period of time. We did NOT then pack up and go home.
We stayed until everything seemed OK. We kept troops in those countries for many years until they could make stuff happen.
We are still in most of those countries and most would like for us to be completely gone.
Those countries we defeated then have become some our best friends.
I am NOT well versed in political stuff as many of you here are. I will not try to influence your thinking but I do vote my way.
Of course as Mr.Turner says "Opinion" which really doesn't need to be said.

Judging from the amount of automotive imports (and probably a whole bunch of other materials I don't know about) we buy from Germany and Japan, I'd say we made-up pretty well. However, perhaps given my limited experience in such matters, I cannot envision our having anything near such a copacetic relationship with any entity that has anything to do with ISIS, which has set its itself against the entirety of civilization, worldwide. Now there is an evil we can all agree upon to condemn and hope the absolute worst for.

It is not common knowledge that the Federal bank has not always been in America. It was one of the original framers beefs against Britain. The central bank was tried and overthrown twice before its current travesty was put in place. Kennedy dollars come to mind? add the fact the CIA wanted the war in Vietnam and Kennedy was against that too. Yes, please enlighten me as well. My sister worked for the Kansas City Fed for almost 40 years before retiring recently. She used to have knock down drag out arguments with my dad that the Fed wasn't autonomous to the US Government. Dad would argue she had the pay grades, holidays and perks as all the other government jobs and it was federal government controlled. So, I'd like to know.
