I actually thought he looked a bit like my great-grandfather and while I'm pretty sure that he did not actually work for the TVRR at any time, I know he had a connection to it at some level and that he also is credited as taking down the one station and salvaging lumber. Might actually be one of my relatives,
I thought I had known about the travels and experiences of my relatives, too, but just recently, I learned that a relative of my wife's, her grandfather's brother, worked a steady-job at Roger's Locomotive Works, in Paterson, NJ. He actually witnessed the locomotives being rolled down Market Street, a main drag, right through the town, on their way to emplacement on a nearby RR line. I think, having heard about it only through family legend, that those locomotives were pulled along the center of the street by mule-team (or horses?) The locomotive-works is now a museum. Murph
