OGR Alan Big al Arnold strikes again

Postby cole7015 » Wed Dec 14, 2016 6:33 pm

Over on OGR there was a good thread going on the SS 3rd rail SD9 from Eric Lindgren, nice photo's

26 reply's and all positive. then big Al turns it off smashes it. "No More posting allowed. "It really amazes me how this works,
and why posters like Eric continue to post there. He has told me they treat him right, that looks to be a fantasy
on his part.

It is just pure Bullshit on OGR part. But it is there game and loss for not letting the members have a choice, but
when you are NK forum what do you expect.

I had some one contact me for Rich Melvins phone number, I declined to give it out, did not have it to give so were safe there.

Say's "original posters request". That could mean Eric wanted it closed. Some guys were complaining about tank drives. Fact.

I hope that is not true. How can soneone's dislike of a tank drive bother someone else? Opinions can be fun, if we keep in mind that they are opinions.

Asswholes? Sure you can. But having an opinion is always so much more pleasant than having a fact. I have a very nice brother who knows for a fact that the earth is 6000 years old. His daughter, who is a very nice woman, knows for a fact that I am going to hell when I die - not because I am a bad guy, but because I reject facts.

Opinions are so much less deadly - nobody goes to hell based on an opinion.

It says it was by "Original poster's request...."

That would be Erik's request.

It looks like a nevermind moment to me.

I didn't see the offending posts. Maybe they were removed.

NW2424

I'm still wondering why everybody doesn't (1) just ignore the numpty and/or (2) just make fun of him - he provides plenty of merriment potential in every post that he makes........
As the literacy rate declines, you’ll ask yourself why the quality of life continues to deteriorate in ways large and small, and in almost every instance the answer will be: because people stopped reading.

Please people it is NW 2124 not 2424. Yes Rufus you nailed it, this person and I say that loosely just stirs up
shit where ever he can. Rich lets him do say and do what ever he pleases on OGR. He has been called into question
hundred of times, he lurks on all the forums at will. He will pull you in like a fish and just implode on you.

Like I said I do still understand why people put up with OGR that do good postings with viable information, only to have
some one complain to Rich or Alan. Alan is nothing more than Rich Melvins Butt Boy at large. and NW 2124 is nothing but a
spherical *** ****, definition no matter which way you turn them there still an *** ****.

There attitudes and policy's change faster that the wind. Bottom line its all about making money for OGR, and the quoted
OGR spouncer that pays mega bucks to have that title, but I have seen them be trashed as well. There is just a never end to this
I sure as hell would not put up with it.

Dear Model Train Journal readers, I asked the OGR Forum moderators to please delete my thread. They locked it. I really really like my Sunset SD9's. A true blessing from Scott. OGR respected my request and I am grateful for their actions. I do not want trolling of a good manufacturer associated with my name on my postings. I will cut out all the content and destroy the thread if I am trolled. Period

Some guy was complaining about the Sunset Diesel and Erik took offense.

At least that is the way I remember it.

So what. Maybe being the adult in the room would be better.
