You guys better get up. Coffee's cold now. Fire's just about gone. I been up most of the night. Damn near froze to death. I burnt those last 3 pallets. Somebody's gonna have to scrounge some more firewood. Keeriste, I'm cold. Mitch

I was thinking of putting a few train items on ebay. That means the auction would end on Christmas Day in the evening. Do you guys think it would be a good time or a bad time for an auction day?

Just a little update...her mom is home and getting daily radiation therapy. I still don't know long term what to expect. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers.

Just got the tree up. It's the usual eleven-foot balsam fir. Not sure if I'm getting weaker, but the tree seemed damn heavy this year. First lugging it through the woods, tossing it on the car, carrying it into the house.

Makes the beer taste good though.

By the time you get the tree erected and hit #6 it should be perfect timing!!

Nothing like straping an 11 foot tree on a 327! Did D drive? It could have been a scene straight out of Animal House!!!!! :lol:

What Tramp isn't telling is that he last his hat to a load of buckshot from the guy that owned the woods. It took him the first quarter-mile, with D holding the pedal to the metal, to get his legs in the window.

On the plus-side, I get to ride a Harley, a Farmall Super A, and a Redhead.

Any lads around? Getting the lights on the balsam. Spiky fellow. I'm not big on stringing the lights on the tree, but I really enjoy dangling the ornaments.

What color lights do you fellows have? And why do you choose that color?

No trains around the tree until January.
