Can't find it on a map or on Google Earth.

Probably renamed or gone........

I googled Germans Corner, PA and came up with this as part of a real estate ad: 6515 Germans Corner Rd, Germansville PA, 18053

Probably still exists, but not as a town, with the closest town being Germansville which was described as near Allentown, PA.

How is Mahanony pronounced?

Just as it looks? Mah-han-kown-knee?
Is there an emphasis anywhere?

Another I have never heard pronounced is Picatinny [sp?].
Pick-at-tin-knee? Pick-a-tin-knee?

Reminds me of 30th St. in Philly, but I really have no solid information on location.

I think the occasion was staged for a set of cards related to the RR.

I think 30th Street is correct; the clock in the column screams of it.

A look at an Official Guide for the arrival time of SR #30 would be telling, but once north of DC I believe the combination of it and an ACL train would be appropriate for that part of #30's trip to NYC.

That entire wall does for me actually, but I was not 100% sure.

Used to be walking about in there all too frequently.....
