Although those lights look nice, I prefer white lights for outlining porches, eaves, windows, etc, and colored lights on trees and bushes.

I am sure someone saw the humor in "Broomrape Dead End" but named a dead end street "Broomrape" anyway.

The location is just down the street from me like that mini-lighthouse is just down the street from you.
I rushed right over and took a photo of the lane.

Itinerary:
o Leave Tucson, drive 322 miles due west,
o stop at Broomrape Ln, Lake Havasu
o Take photo.
o Return to Tucson.
o Publish photo on MTJ.

Mission accomplished!

I call any flower that is so small and grows so low to the ground that you have to get
down on your belly to photograph them a belly flower. Broomrape is a belly flower.

What a beautiful rare little flower, thanks Wayne. The thing I miss the most about living out in LA is going out to the desert. I especially miss it now after Tramp and I just spend two hours shoveling out our cars!

ps. thanks dirt, bruce can be so touching. so can you.

I think if I told my wife I was going to give her a broomrape I would be in B I G trouble.

I have taken up study under a guru. A spiritual master of the universe.

It was 81 °F in Tucson today. My wife and I were playing frisbie with the cat.

HEY BOY!
Damn San, you forgot to tell me to turn the volume control to zero before pressing “play.” Your guru pegs the VU Meter.

Wayne, Out this way you have to have the sound way-up, so you can hear it above the humm of the air conditioner.

JB has been a godsend. I had veered onto false path's of spirituality before...

JB's preparation of chili dogs is truly sacramental.
