Help with this tank car

Postby G3750 » Sat Apr 04, 2026 9:06 pm

Folks,

A friend of mine is seeking some assistance with the parts of this KWR tank car kit.

What are the pieces in the center of the photo; the ones that look like small H’s with a bump in the middle and the two pieces that look like a large clevis?

Any help would be appreciated.

George

The 2 pieces that look like large clevis' are part of the coupler assembly. I'm not sure about the small H parts, maybe the end parts that bracketed the coupler spring. I have a KWR car. These are pretty old - should have a little plate on the underside of the walk near the end platform "Made in Occupied Japan"
