As a public service...

Postby G3750 » Fri Jan 14, 2022 8:24 pm

I thought I would post this here so that:
a) Some of you (I'm looking at you, John Long  ) could get in on the pre-ordering
b) The comedic value was too high to ignore

Enjoy!

 I don’t know George this is border line crapper material.

Maybe Mike suffers from Napoleon syndrome and that’s why Hokies running cover for him. Either way, of all the nice things that have been said about MW on train forums this should hardly be offensive

Someone mentioned waiting for a container. I can tell you "at this point in time. Air freight is a cheaper and faster method of shipping. We had a 20 foot container on hold/standby/and who really knows what the problem was. After speaking with our broker. All were in agreement that air freight was the best option. It took all of 7 days to get our stuff landed. Air freight price was inline with 2019 container shipping prices.

I know, I know. I'm sorry. There's just so much here to work with. I couldn't resist.

I'm so ashamed.

Well, maybe not that much.

What's special about this one is it has the lawsuit filing number against Lionel's Big Boy stamped in the cab deck with a red "X" over the top.

Symbolic.

Of course, it comes with the latest Lionel control system....again, symbolic.

That said, we know about some of the pre-war copies Mikey made of Lionel stuff......before and during Kughn's agreement....but I have an MTH Standard Gauge Brass Piper here for repair.......DCS, can motor, all that....and in one motor block side sheet is stamped the round Lionel logo. Somebody went to a lot of trouble at MTH and PRC to do that.
