Oh, I think that's a lot brighter and a lot more orange.

These remind me of the photos Murph showed of his layout.
He said he had nothing new to show and stopped posting photos'
I found something new in his photos everytime he posted some.
Maybe I will do the same with those of Mr. Santos.
They look good.

Yes, very reminiscent of Murph's work. It's a good use of what looks to be some quality diecast and a nice model/scene. Vehicles and figures can be tough to use on the layout. To me, they look best in what would be stationary settings, i.e. a truck being loaded, a bus waiting to discharge passengers, an automobile sitting at a stop-light or parked along the side of a street, etc. It can be tough to pull off the look of the guy driving down the street or the kid riding his bike; the scene is stationary until the electric train roars by or the trolley passes. Same for figures, like the guy running to catch the train or people walking down the sidewalk. It's like a still picture, but with some bits animated. Here the cars are parked, the figures are generally in stationary poses, looks good to me.

Thanks, Roger. Another scratchbuilt exercise in small structures using a lot of leftover bits in my shop.

A nice desk and lamp, a warm stove, a full wood-box, what else does one need? Great little model, yeah, very nice.

Lots of repair to this car and bits reattached, etc., but probably keeping this one.

Sides were printed paper applied over plywood/compressed paper stuff. Doors open!
