Not much to look at right now, but it's the starting point floor for the next car...

As the literacy rate declines, you’ll ask yourself why the quality of life continues to deteriorate in ways large and small, and in almost every instance the answer will be: because people stopped reading.

Did you solder those copper bands in place, or use an adhesive of some sort? Nice work. The "cap" looks familiar, but I can't place it.

The bands are there with Goo & CA. Rest is wrapped around a form made from small 1/4 round and other wood.
"The "cap" " ==> take a stroll down the plumbing aisle,

End framing for the tank:
Holes are for connecting rods to tie the ends together around the tank.

Looking good. How many tanks on a car? One or two?
Thinking about taking a crack and making a cardstock version of the Dorfan 425 station:

The dimensions of the original's base is just 4" x 8", so it's rather small. I'm going to make a few changes, primarily increasing the height a bit, then raising the entry-way height, and maybe compressing the window arrangement a bit. I want to try to keep the footprint about the same (I have a tendency to make everything too big).
Maybe two of them; one in original colors and another in the glitter-house format.

I was wondering how the truck set-up was going to work...now I know. Should be nice.

Re: The Modelers Thread
An 'A' for effort...that's pretty damn cool.
Re: The Modelers Thread
Yeah, way cool! The detailing and weathering are impressive.
