I agree, your towns, streets and buildings are the best. And the fact you photograph them outdoors in natural light with real background just takes it over the top.

The one with the snow covered hills gets to me - I have seen this so many times from the windows of a light aircraft. These days you could conceivably see it from a freeway (if you are not driving) but those old two lane highways and gas stations are gone forever. Well, the roads are still there, but local travel only.

Yeah, wonderful images of a time gone by. It was great being able to see and live this 1st hand. I have one of Erik's books from years ago and many, many great images. Kinda melancholy when you see where we are today.
